Biography
Innes is Jasper's mate, younger than her, but still an elderly dragon himself. In his younger years he was also a great warrior, but a near-fatal bite from an enemy Snapper forced the Guardian into retirement, as excessive fighting causes great pain to his brittle and fragile legs.
Although Innes is retired, and his wife is much better known for her battle-hungry attitude, most dragons will agree that he is the fiercer and more brutish of the two. Innes strongly believes that the Plague flight is the one true dominant fight, and all other fights are to be subservient to it. He despises the clan leader's soft and pleasant nature, and secretly desires to usurp him and turn the clan into a full-out army. However, he never acts upon it, seeing that at his age, he can't even walk properly.
His Plague-supremacist ideals rot his brain so strongly that he once attacked the clan leader's son for confessing his desires to join the Ice flight. The son nearly died, and many dragons called for Innes's exile after the event, but he was eventually forgiven. However, many dragons still find him to be untrustworthy, or at least irritably cranky.
He's the dragon equivalent of an angry racist grandpa.
