"Hello, welcome to the Skybound Clan. I'm Tropic, the founder, and this is Talon, my scout. We're a growing lair, want to join our ranks?"

B I O G R A P H Y

I'm a wanderess, I'm a one-night stand,

Don't belong to no city, don't belong to no man,

I'm the violence in the pouring rain,

I'm a hurricane.

______ Tropic is the founder of the lair, and the obvious leader. Birthed in the ridges of the steppes themself, this Fae found her place in the world quite quickly. Watching the baby dragons her age playing with their parents made her feel empty inside. She'd watch in sadness as they'd retreat to their lairs and snuggle up.

This started Tropic's plan: Build her own lair! Maybe she'd get some friends, even if she had no family.

So, for countless days, she built, harvesting the bamboo and stacking it into a structure. The toil wore her down, blistering her all over. Tropic constantly pushed his body to the limit, lugging stacks as large -or larger- than herself. At the end of the stacking stage, Tropic rested her body, which was this close to giving out. Picking herself back up again, Tropic took some mud and stuck the stalks together. It formed a watertight barrier, which was just enough to hold the walls together.

All that was left to do was wait. She waited for a bit, watching the stillness in the horizon and thinking that it would be a while. But , almost immediately, she saw a forlorn green fae stumbling in the distance in the distance. Tropic saw his face, and realized something.

He wanted a home, like her.

She welcomed him in, and he introduced himself as a lonely fae named Tangelo. Tangelo had been looking for a very small lair to nestle himself in. Tropic welcomed him in, and he helped fix up the lair a bit. The two hardened the lair, shooed away all of the sparrowmice (except one, which Tropic grew attached to), and painted a mural, depicting the two of them. Two dragons made the work easier, and they chatted and mused at their creation on the wall. When they were done, Tangelo picked up two peridots and made them the eyes.

More and more dragons came. There were many personalities, including optimistic Talon and generous Caleb. The pair even brought in some children of their own.

Tropic blossomed into a wonderful leader, caring and thoughtful. She offered food not when she obliged herself to, but also when the others needed it. At the same time,

Whoever the dragon, Tropic is always kind enough to let them in.

The young fae has seen much. She's seen her lair grown in all kinds of ways. She's seen little dragons blossom into beautiful, talented individuals. She's seen the formation of a formidable fighting team, one of the dragons being Tangelo himself. And yet, Tropic never is satisfied, only looking at her clan and seeing an ocean of potential.

Tropic won't give up. Her clan will always grow bigger. Better equipped. More experienced. And even when they're at their best, Tropic still will refuse to call it a day. Her work ethic is what keeps the little machine inside her going.
