As soon as he was born he was brought out of the Shadows and into the Lightning.
Though he only spent a few moments in Shadow, its effects have stuck with him. Maron has always been a sneaky sort, from hiding treasure under his bed to snatching other dragons clothes while they bathed. With no parents to speak of, he was adopted and reprimanded by CandiMan, though, some question if this helped his behaviour in the long run.

The cheeky Coatl taught the boy to be a suave, cool and albeit it kinda a jerk and cheesy, ladies man.

After a dispute with some other clan mates, Maron fled back to Shadow but all he did was wander, lost and confused. Shadow was so much different to Lightning. A noticable thing was all the different casinos. Like, an over abundance of casinos. An amasing amount of casinos and shady places in general.

Maron tried his hand in a particularly shady joint and lost. Then lost again. And again. And even more until he blew through all the treasure he brought with him. An old mirror with a large grin offered to actually teach him how to play in exchange for doing odd jobs for her, like delivering letters and parcels to other casinos and clans. As he worked, the old mirror taught him all she knew about card games, dealing the deck out, ect.

Soon enough, Maron was a monster at card games. No one could beat his hand.

One day he was on a particularly good lucky streak when he was called to the office. Once he got there, he received a tight hug while being yelled at in a familiar tone. CandiMan was going off his head while hugging him tighter. He went on about how worried he was and that he was too young to be in a place like this. Turns out, he was. He was barred from that casino and was taken home, kicking and screaming but also happy to be going home.

Now that hes just old enough and gets Candies consent (and sometimes he doesnt!), he sneaks back over to Shadow to play cards and the odd job.
