Many dragon clans never cook their food, or use only the simplest methods possible to process it. All dragons are born with formidable fangs, incisors, or molars to seize and chew their favored foods. Cacao used to never question this, but the methods of food preparation commonly used by beastclans fascinated her. She learned that cooking can make food easier to chew and digest, preserved for longer, and even unlock more nutrition.

Since few dragons take the discipline seriously, she's had to learn from scratch. She's studied foods made by species such as the centaur, raptorik, and longneck in an attempt to discover their secrets. It was a hard road to travel: many of her recipes ended up inedible. Over time, her skills improved, and she found support among the hatchlings and elders. Her improved creations usually end up easier to eat and digest.

She struggled in her early days, but now she has most of the clan's support. Cooked meals are made each day for many of the residents. Cacao's expanded her operations so much that she hired on a helper. Rosewood is an invaluable aid and helps her make appetizing insect dishes. Other specialists have joined her in the culinary arts, helping fill gaps in Cacao's skills.
