SPECTRE
Gardener / Storyteller  Spectre is a big softy with a passion for surrealism. A true nature dragon, he is a lover of plants and keeps a wide variety growing in his den, being careful not to keep any that will harm his black cat, Toby. It is a wonder that he finds the space to walk about in there with plants covering the floor, hanging from the ceiling and even growing out of the walls. When he is not caring for his hoard of greenery, Spectre is out wandering and looking for different ways to view the world. He likes to write stories in which odd things happen without seeming fake. The imperial finds his stories in strange places. He once got the idea for a short piece about a climbing flowers that slowly covered an entire clan, and the dragons went about their lives without paying attention until the flowers grew over them too and they were all frozen in place forever; later in the story, other dragons would come to the clan, and look at the dragons, admiring the “statues” from some forgotten and talented sculptor. Few understand Spectre’s method, but no one can deny that there is a strange quality to his writing that is alluring and beautiful. by #191713 |
