Personality
Meteor belongs to the Runecarver Earth-Subspecies. A class filled with the arcane magic that brought the pillar to fall evolved around the scattered Pillar of the World. They use the debris from the former slabs and infuse them with life again – through carving runes into it, which resemble the elemental flights. Those dragons are called Runecarvers.

It's a common sight, that Runecarvers gather around the pillar and collect stones with their familiars. That's why they mostly wear satchels to put all their findings in it. Glasses aren't a rare sight either. Many Runecarvers suffer from bad eyesight due to their tiring search on the ground.
Meteor is one of few Ridgebacks in the clan and she is a perfect example for the standard behavior of the breed. She ""borrows"" her clan members stuff regularly and has disagreements with the others beause of that once a day at least. Not even other clans are safe from her nimble fingers. She takes stones and debris from the Pillars from them to carve magic runes into them plus always something for her own ""collection"". The repected Ambassadors that have contacts to these different elemental clans often have to smooth things over for her. Despite these constant mishaps she is very useful to the clan and therefore tolerated. Her runes are powerful and generally work as an amplifier for magic spells. Since her diet consists of fish she is very pleased that the fisherdragon Haldir often gifts her her favourite fish and small shells besides her usual rations. She knows that he does that, because of her constant arguments with Symbelmyne. Sometimes she only provoke these fights with the Guardian lady because she knows that Haldir will come over and she can enjoy a snack. After his death Meteor deeply mourned him and stopped getting into fights with Symbelmyne. The only dragon in the clan she never borrows from is Odimm, although she loves his shiny mirrors. To still obtain these she do trades with him. Her masterly crafted runes for small pieces of his mirrors. They exchange their goods during there sandbathes together. Her mate Davion enjoys her funny side and can live with her thieving little fingers, because he do not value possessions at all.

  • Her favourite kind of fish are eels.
  • She denies the fact that her eyesight is bad. She just looks closer and closer to the ground.
  • During the rejuvenation of her spines Meteor will dive into her most beloved activity to distract her from the itching. Tunnel carving. In these times she will help out Athelas carving out new den space.
