My life was good. I was born atop a sand dune on the edge of the snow. My parents loved me and my siblings more than life. But not all stories have a happy beginning. My father was a beautiful skydancer, and the Shadowbringer wanted him to serve him forever. He sent a rogue band to kidnap us, but thanks to my dad, who fought like a demon to protect us, my mother was able to guide us to safety. The rogue band now was furious, as my father killed their leader, and 11 of his followers. They were sent after us in a blind rage, to kill, not to exalt. My mother loved us so much, she sent us to clans that could protect us. We now live is separate clans, but we still see each other. My new clan is kind, and I will spent the rest of my life here.
