Biography

Stella
Lady of the Cosmos

Her swift and graceful movements enthrall her many fans. Topped with both body and wings covered in starry-covered scales, Stella is truly a sight to behold. As an entertainer, it is her great pleasure to astound her audience. She is always practicing her routine for the Starcatcher Circus, having taken over her father's role as the main star of the show. Some would claim she is a literal star.

Her early life had not been a happy tale. A terrible storm shook her clan's territory while she was still an egg. Both her parents cautiously guarded over the nest as their clanmates rushed around their crumbling lair to repair what little shelter they had. Suddenly a strong wind blew, pushing her parents away from the nest, unable to return as the ceiling collapsed over it. Once the storm was over, her parents returned to discover the nest destroyed and the eggs cracked. Grieving over their loss, her mother laid over the nest while her father examined the remaining damages until he noticed something nearby. One egg had survived!

As the clan began to rebuild their lair, her parents, with the help of the resident Skydancers, built a new nest and placed their single egg inside. Days passed, and the parents became worried the egg wouldn't hatch until one night they caught some movement from the egg. A claw popped out and then a tiny shrill as Stella emerged, blinking at her parents. Getting a good look at their daughter, the parents saw an interesting sheen along her body. Stretching her wings, Stella seemed to bleed into the night sky as her hide was covered in stars. Not only her parents, but even the entire clan believed she was a blessing given by the Arcanist.

Growing up, Stella enjoyed learning astronomy as well as dancing. One day she was approached by the Starcatcher Circus leader named Plum who applauded her talent and offered her father's position as he was retiring. Stella couldn't have been happier and accepted. Many dragons far and wide would come to the Starfall Isles to see the Starcatcher Circus's main attraction as Stella soars into the night sky to amaze the audience. Whether Stella is an actual star fallen from the cosmos or just an ordinary dragon, she really doesn't mind the rumors she hears.
