HEREFORD
Chieftain

tumblr_inline_o38gt7NExT1r5syjm_250.png
" Be brave, be strong and fight like a warrior "
tumblr_inline_o38gt7NExT1r5syjm_250.png
Personality:
Hereford is a strong and loyal Tundra. He isn’t afraid to fight for what he believes in or for those he cares for, no matter how tough it can get. Being a Tundra however does have its drawbacks, as he is often forgetting important information or plans. This doesn’t deter him from reaching his goals as he always has his rank and allies to back him up.

Lore:
When he was a hatchling, Hereford would often be seen as a lowly hatchling of no importance. It wasn’t an insult to him directly, as all hatchlings in his birth clan were seen as inferior, but being treated as a lessor being did get to him as he began to understand the way the clan worked. That was when he began paying more attention to the dragons around him and how they were bound by the rules. Yes, rules were important, but Hereford did not believe in the strict - and rather violent - rules that bound the dragons in his clan.
He wanted to bring a change that would protect the clan as well as make it a better place for dragons to live, a place where dragons weren’t looked down upon the second they were born until they could prove their use. As a young adult he even began trying to rebel for a change of these rules, only to be thrown out along with his friend, a longneck gladiator.
Traveling was tough at first - being a fluffy young Tundra didn’t exactly scream dangerous - but with the help of his longneck and the fighting experience he got along the way he was shaping up to be quite the physical fighter.
A lucky hit from a crimson jadevine rendered him unconscious during his trip through the Ashfall Waste - mainly due to him getting lost and wandering - but upon waking up he found himself and his longneck being well cared for by what he soon learned was the Adventurer’s Guild. It wasn’t long after that he learned about his rescuers and he joined as Chieftain under CrimsonFlames's leadership and met the love of his life, Cunegonda. Unfortunately, she was contracted to the panderer, Thoroneh, but Hereford is determined to save her from her debt so they can be together. His plan is still in the works but he won’t stop until this unjust action against his love is corrected.

As a chieftain, Hereford is required to cooperate with the other chieftains and captain of the guard to protect and ensure peace within the Guild. He must be ready to fight at any moment while also determining the best way to keep the peace through non-violent acts as well.
When he isn’t working, he is typically trying to save Cunegonda by searching through the laws of the Guild for help, seeking out Thoroneh’s weaknesses, and trying to find loopholes to the debt his love owns the panderer. When he isn’t busy with that, a rare case, Hereford is usually training to keep his skills sharp.
