Flight to the Clan

It only takes several minutes to reach the archipelago. The islands are small, dark masses of volcanic rock frozen over with sharp spikes of ice creeping up on the southern side. Forges blaze with brilliant light, large buildings hewn of rock angled around one central one.

"Welcome to the Outpost," says Nympha, the coatl, setting down beside you. "These are our meeting halls. The daytime work's done now, but the night shifts should be about to start. One of my friends would be glad to let you tag along, I'm sure."

The gray spiral Nympha sent ahead earlier comes out of the hall. "Rumi and Cy have a hut ready for you," she says. "If you're tired from your trip and wanna sleep now, she can take you there."

"You'll always be able to explore tomorrow," Nympha adds. "There's different things to see in the day, after all."

____Some would say that Nympha's 75% spunk, 15% sass, and 10% rage all rolled up into one small dragon. And she really can't argue with them. She hates to be told that she can't do something, and she hates all the more when she knows she can't.




____In fact, that's how the whole vigilante thing started. When her male friends continuously left her out from their battles, she became frustrated. Instead of moping about it; however, she developed the persona of Samurai X, designed her own armor, and went out to kick butt. Without her feather crest to display her sex, everyone mistook her for a male

____Nympha was the one to initiate the move south. She wanted more freedom to be herself and the vast empty tundra of the Icefields promised just that. She contacted a budding clan there and arranged for herself and her brother and boyfriend a place to stay. Once all that was taken care of, they began the journey there.


____The clan was small, yes, but it quickly became home. Nympha quickly fell in love with her new life on the ice. She was given the role of a patroller and assigned to a team with two others. She loved the crispness of the air, the sparkling ice, and the small but warm community of dragons that made up the clan. And if she still soared into the inky sky each night, her armor gleaming beneath the stars, well, who was to know?
