Soft, friendly and motherly, Chrome amuses the young with her magic, and is the dragon most hatchlings will come to for advice. However, there is a different side to her--she can be mischievous. She messes with Patchwork's plants when he is not looking, and teaches the young ones magic tricks to play pranks on the pther dragons.

Meditation is very important to Chrome, as it puts her more in touch with her magical abilities. She will sometimes go to certain locations to do her meditation, and never tells anyone but Patchwork where she is going. That way she avoids anyone being too curious--she wants to be completely alone when meditating.
