★ Snores quite loudly. He wasn't aware of it until the first time he and Evangeline slept in the same room, and she pointed it out the next morning, amused. It's not known what causes it, and it doesn't cause any big issues, so he doesn't care about it all that much.
★ He's dealt with bad insomnia for quite a long time. It's common for it to take at least a couple hours to fall asleep, and he tends to get up when he wakes up the next time as long as he's aware, since it's unlikely he'll fall asleep again. He seems to rarely get a full night of uninterrupted sleep, and he tends to look tired due to it, bags under his eyes and all. It's frustrating, but he's grown used to it, and being tired doesn't affect him too badly unless he's had a bad few days in a row. There seems to be no cure for it either; nothing has worked to cure it for longer than a little while.
★ Flameweed is his favourite treat, and he usually has some on him so he can munch on some throughout the day.
★ ★ He also really, really likes potatoes.
★ Speaking of food, he also has a huge appetite and can, and will, happily willingly eat a lot in one session.
★ His Roundhorns are completely natural, and started to grow in when he was in his teens, completing the growth by the time of he hit adulthood. He occasionally has to deal with Ram-related puns from the twins and occasionally Mael as well due to having them.
★ His real first name isn't Johnson, it's actually his middle name, but it stuck as what others mainly call him after a couple of his closer friends started referring him by that name.
★ He had never planned to grow his hair out, but when circumstances happened that made it so he wasn't able to cut it for a while, it grew out decently, Evangeline fell in love with the look and convinced him to grow it out further. He doesn't plan on cutting it completely, though it does get trimmed on occasion, and he does often tie it back loosely so it's not in the way of his work.
★ He has many scars that he has gained over the years from his fighting. Oddly enough, most of those scars are above his waist; he only has a few scars on his legs and tail.
★ The ones on his legs include what is likely his worst scar: one on his lower right leg that starts right below the back of his knee and goes down, curving as it goes down until it reaches the front of his ankle. It was a deep wound, which likely affected bone, and has a very slight green tinge to it. This is due to the fact that it was from a magic blade, by Nature magic, which is an element he's vulnerable to.
★ Due to the extent of the damage and the fact it was caused by a magical attack, it tends to bother him quite a bit. It's not rare to see him limp, even slightly, though he doesn't limp all the time. If it bothers him with pain, it isn't known, since he doesn't show it. It also has a tendency to ooze slightly when it really bothers him, which usually happens when he is on his feet too much (and that's rare, thankfully). His limp also gets worse then, and there have been times when his leg ends up giving out, usually thanks to him deciding not to rest it enough during those times.
★ ★ Also, kicking that leg in the right spot will cause it to give out and make it so he temporarily cannot put much weight on it.
★ He also cannot run for long on that leg when it isn't bothering him, and he cannot run effectively at all when it is bothering him. Cold weather tends to make it act up as well, and he tends to limp the entire time he's out when it's cold. He does not like visiting the Icefield due to this.
★ Other notable scars of his include a lot of scars from a blade across his entire back, multiple scars on the left side of his face and neck (including one that barely missed damaging an eye)(not all done by blades, some were done by claw weapons)(now including a scar more recent than the rest that goes down from his forehead and goes through the eyebrow on the left side of his face at a slightly diagonal angle; another failed attempt at striking an eye), a stab scar on his stomach, and a long one across his upper chest.
★ ★ He's also missing most of a finger on his left hand/front foot- the finger that would be considered his "ring finger".
★ His left shoulder also sometimes causes him problems, for he dislocated it badly a few years prior. It tends to pop every now and then, and it does give him some pain if he keeps it in a bad position for too long.
★ His pain tolerance is rather high, actually, making it quite difficult to tell how bad he is after a fight unless it's obvious (though it doesn't help that he doesn't like showing pain/weakness). This does mean that if he's showing more than just a little pain/discomfort, he's likely in bad condition.
★ His smaller horn is missing its tip and has a crack down the side. It's likely it'll break further later on.
★ His eyes used to be a warm brown, with small specks of different colours within them. Now, thanks to the weird magic shifts that changed a lot of dragons' eye colours, they are now a medium shade of grey, though the small specks of colour still remain within.
★ He does not take cold weather well; he gets cold easily. He does not like being cold and will do what he can to not be coild anymore, which often leads him to either wearing thicker clothing/putting on a blanket depending on where he is, or searching for 'body heat" and staying close to others unless something else is keeping him warm. He enjoys the Ashfall Waste for he does not get cold here.
★ As it turns out, he is pretty allergic to wasp/bee stings. Not deathly allergic, but it does give him quite the reaction.
★ Likes children, and is very good with handling them and interacting with them. He seems to have a lot of patience reserved for children only.
★ Actually quite enjoys having his hair played with. It feels quite good. Later on, having fingers run through his hair or having his hair brushed ends up being an effective way to calm him down or relax.
★ Does not like large bodies of water thanks to something that happened to him when he was a kid. He stays far away from them, including flying way above anyone else he's traveling with to the Icefield when he needs to with other high-ranked dragons.
★★ That being said, he does not travel with the leaders/ambassadors/higher ups when they need to go to the Sea of A Thousand Currents. Nope, not doing that.
★★ Also thanks to this, he really doesn't like it when he can't breathe or can't breathe well; he has a tendency to seriously freak out if the feeling comes out of nowhere.
