At first glance, Varuna might seem to many, to be a dragon of water heritage, with his shining blue wings, sparkling beautifully like the surface waters of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, when the glorious sunlight from the neighboring land of Sunbeam Ruins hits the waking waves.

Though Varuna's favorite subject to read about is the Sea of a Thousand Currents, he is shockingly, not from there. From his attire, to the water emblem to the tome he carries, anyone would've thought that his eyes were blue. It is only if you look closely, when you truly pay attention, that you would have noticed those gentle yellow eyes, secretly peering at you.

Tamara, his friend he would've loved to call lover, was one of the first dragons who ever noticed at the start, and like every story in my lair, he fell in love. It was brutal, painful even, and so, the consequences of the choices he made because of her, are to be burdened only by him. Though he loved her to the point that he gave up everything that he ever known to stay with her, it was not him that she loved.

As the saying goes, if you truly love someone, you would want them to be happy. But... was Tamara truly happy? This is the story of a relationship that could've been a masterpiece, if only too many things were not misunderstood. Could this whole mess be changed?
