The Earth Flight is all about preserving the past and building monuments that will withstand the test of time, and Sueseca takes that job seriously, although his personality could never be described as 'serious' in any way. Sueseca has ruined his fair share of statues by tripping over his own feet and ruining his progress. It is this clumsiness that prevented him from ever gaining recognition among Wildclaws, since his hunting and fighting ability was pathetic. However, after traveling among some Snappers, he managed to find his own niche. He takes clay and stone and turns it into works of art, and though beautiful, they are also functional. He came upon the clan after trying and failing to find a place to settle down and focus on his art. Most clans threw him out after he destroyed one too many of their valuables.

After Zdravka kept bemoaning the lack of decent cookware and storage bins, the clan was on the lookout for potters and other crafters. Sueseca tumbling onto shore was a welcome surprise. Since the clan doesn't have too many valuables, Sueseca hasn't been able to do much damage. He stays away from the kitchens and the forges, preferring to stay sequestered next to the blacksmith shop, throwing pots and bowls onto the wheel and firing the finished wares. Much of the excess pottery is sold to other clans. Sueseca also works in carving statues out of large pieces of rocks. Most of these pieces are also plates and bowls, but sometimes he creates purely artistic pieces of various deities and dragons. He has a close relationship with Arianrhod, since both are devoted to their passions and have traveled far and wide.
