Queen of Frosted Branch Clan

B I O G R A P H Y

FrostWing one day awoke on a Frigid Floe, with nothing with her but the skin on her bones and the image of one thing in her head - A branch covered in frost, with still green leaves. With this image, she stood up on the floe, determined to do something. What it was, she didn't know. She set out, but the cold winter winds quickly forced her tiny wings down. Attempting to set out on foot, she started forwards. After a few minutes, however, she was making no progress. She peered through the snow, seeing a large silhouette in front of her. Another dragon! It approached, its features coming into shape. It was a large Guardian male, and as he got closer, FrostWing somehow wasn't afraid. He settled besides her, saying that his Search was complete. That she was his Charge, and he would stay by her side, protecting her. His name was Winter. For a while they lived together, travelling all over the Southern Icefield, and even some of the Starfall Isles. On their trip they found a few dragons to join them. One was a Skydancer named Wisp, a hatchling abandoned. They took her in, and after that they moved towards the Isles. There they found a Spiral taking care of an Arcane Imperial hatchling. As they lived on the edges of the Isles for a bit, they met with the Whispering Cosmos Clan, ruled by Nyx. Nyx showed FrostWing the benefits of making a Clan, so she went back to the Frigid Floes and founded the Frosted Branch Clan, after the only thing she remembered after waking up that one fateful day.

As the Clan grew, FrostWing wanted to make things more organized. She instructed the Clan to not spend any more treasure on useless things, and to instead invest in expanding their lair. No accepting any more dragons unless they wanted to stay forever. It was around this time that her and Winter's four eggs hatched, revealing her new children, Blizzard, Fog, Twilight, and Iceberg. Fog was the original heir to Frosted Branch Clan. Once the children were grown up, Winter sensed something was wrong in the Fortress of Ends. He had to leave FrostWing and his children to go serve the Icewarden. FrostWing was devastated. She knew that if he left, he could never return.
