MysticPinecone came to Moonlit Nyyt Weyr during the first Trickmurk Circus. He chose his name when he heard that the Shadow treasure was called a Shimmering Pinecone, covered in moon dust. He thought that was quite mysterious. He is quite a character in the lair, along with his tricky familiar, a Brush Dodo named Currycomb. If you must shorten her name she prefers to be called Comb. The two of them like to play jokes on the other lair members but laugh the loudest when the joke is on them. Comb thought it was hysterically funny when MysticPinecone wore the deepsea bulb to imitate her glow-feather, so he still wears it in order to hear her cackle about it now and again.

MysticPinecone wondered what he would look like if he became a Bogsneak. Lairspirit Emberglo thought he was so lovely that she almost changed him! But instead, Emberglo created a new sub-species: Moonlit Night. Although MP is not one, they allow him the use of this badge because they can be found by clicking on it. After all, he was their inspiration! (And Comb is so proud of him she clicks it often.)
Shadymum, who trained in Alchemy under the infamous Baldwin himself, made a special mirror for him. When he looks into it, he sees himself as a Bogsneak... He doesn't really want to become one but he really enjoys looking into that special mirror. It looks something like this:
