TL;DR for when I write this out for real:
- Velvet is named after his grandfather.
- Velvet looks like the sprite made by Riserae because NO HATCHLING APPAREL OR SKINS/ACCENTS *pouts*
- Velvet isn't usually watched by Erebos. Instead, he tags along with Baize on deliveries or with Leuc when training. (Though, he still is occasionally watched by Erebos, especially if there is an council meeting and Baize is out for delivery)
- Velvet really enjoys watching his dad train dragons for Stormcatcher, and aspires to be strong like him someday.
- I KINDA FORGOT I WAS LEVELING VELVET TO 25 BEFORE MAKING HIM A PERM HATCHLING. OPPS. I'll get back to that sometime when I'm not being lazy about leveling???

- Leuc does train Velvet so he can fend on his own in case of an emergency. JUST OBVIOUSLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH SINCE I FORGOT I WAS LEVELING. GOOD JOB, ME.
- Velvet has fun traveling to different areas. Flying with mom and following Dad while he trains recruits let's him see a variety of places.
- Leuc generally trains with him perched on Leuc's familiar's head.
- Velvet also enjoys spending time with his Aunt Cisele, but has no interest in her work. Though he appreciates the cute clothes she makes him.
- Velvet's BFF is his cousin, Cumulus.
