Rapture

One of the eldest dragons in the (Clan Name), she's watched many dragons come and go, many hatchlings grow up and start families of their very own, and she even witnessed a flight change, one thing she never thought she'd witness. She's long outlived most of her friends and family, the only remaining four being Jay, Mirage, Starwind, and Daydream.

She survived the extreme illness that killed many of her friends and family. Rapture does not like talking about the days of the illness, the only dragons she'll talk to about it with are Jay, Midnight, Cecil, Starwind, and Daydream, anyone else, she completely ignores and if they keep asking, she'll snap, exclaiming, "It's none of your business!" unless the dragon asking, happens to be a young hatchling, if it just so happens to be a hatchling that was never warned by its parents, Rapture will gently tell the young one that its an uncomfortable topic, and she'd wish for the young one to not ask about it, even though she's went through a lot, she always make sure to keep her gentle spirit towards young ones. Talking about those times are an extremely uncomfortable time for her, which is beyond understandable since she not only lost her remaining children, but her mate as well. On occasion, you'll see her and Jay leave the camp together, while many assume they're going off to breed, they're assumptions are always wrong. When Rapture and Jay leave the clan, they're going off to visit the clans cemetery to grieve for their lost loved ones.

Before the virus struck, Rapture was the clans trader. She'd travel far and wide looking for goodies to trade for her clan. Every time she'd return from her trading travels, she'd always make sure to bring back something shiny for the hatchlings to play with. She saw and met so many other dragons when she was on her travels as well, she even met her mate during her travels. She misses those times desperately.

After the virus struck, Rapture was beyond heartbroken. Her mate was dead, and the only thing she had left of him was their first daughter, their last nest together died before they could name them together, and after their death, Rapture was too heartbroken to even think of a name for them, therefore, those hatchlings remained unnamed. When the virus finally left the clan, Rapture was beyond depressed, the only happiness she had left in her life, was her daughter, Eternalflower.

With Eternalflower being Rapture's last source of happiness, Rapture started becoming more and more protective over her. One day, Eternalflower had enough of Rapture constantly treating her like a hatchling, so she snapped at her mother, and ran away. Rapture's sadness instantly came crashing down on her. She didn't follow her daughter when she ran away, fearing that she'd make her hate her even more, that was Rapture's biggest regret in her life.

When Eternalflower didn't return the next day, Rapture grew concerned and begged Daydream to send out a search party since her daughter hadn't returned since yesterdays argument. Daydream accepted her request, seeing how desperate Rapture was to find her daughter. Rapture wasn't allowed to go on the search party due to Starwind not wanting her to go out of fear she'd do something crazy if something happened to Eternalflower. When the search party had left, Rapture eagerly climbed up the side of the clan's inner wall and watched as they left, she waited eagerly for the search party to return before Azula told Rapture that Daydream needed her help making a map of the clans territory. Rapture was desperate to have something to do while the search group was out searching for Eternalflower, so she eagerly agreed and went to Daydream's cave.

Rapture was beyond grateful towards Daydream for giving her something to distract her mind with while the search party was out searching. She enjoyed her time helping the young Fae. When Daydream no longer needed any help, Rapture stayed and shared a meal with her. By that time, Mirage had actually come over and begun talking to the both of them. By the end of the meal, Rapture had grown quiet, in her thinking about what she was going to say to Eternalflower when the search party found her. Her thoughts were interrupted when Daydream's happy smiling face quickly turned to one of sadness and shock. Rapture looked behind her to see what had upset the Fae, only to see her worst nightmare come true.

There on the back of Mochi was her daughter, unmoving, eyes glazed over with a cold lifeless stare. Rapture let out a heart shattering screech before running over to her unmoving daughter, she almost knocked poor Mochi over when she frantically grabbed her daughter off his back. She exclaimed at Mochi her eyes filling with tears, "What happened to my precious daughter?!". Mochi replied, "We believe that it was the Beastclans.. Rapture... I'm so sorry for your loss.." Rapture was absolutely grief stricken, her last hatchling, dead, and it was her own fault, if she would've just ran after Eternalflower, or stopped being so protective over her, her baby might still be alive today..

Rapture refuses to ever allow another Beastclan fatality to happen again towards the members of her clan. While, she isn't as flexible, and strong as she was back in her younger years, she'll most definitely go down fighting for her clan.
