______ The first of the dragons to the lands in which her clan inhabits. The matriarch of the Shining Wings Clan. The leader of their House of Wisdom. Solaira holds these titles, all thanks to her tireless work. Constantly seeking out new ways to learn more, her duties never end. From being the librarian to studying ancient texts, to be the first to greet those who enter the lands of Amalur. If issues come up and the matters have not been handled by even Hoxton, she is the last judge. Her word might be absolute in this situation, though she is kind and just. She believes that there is always more to learn, more to study and understand, and she will work until her House of Wisdom has the grandest library.

______ It is rumored that, due to her gaze towards the sun, she fell blind. To hide this "weakness", she covers her eyes, so that those who work with her do not realize this. This is not the case; she merely seems to think better with her eyes covered; in a way, it enhances her senses and makes her even stronger. She needs not to know where others are, as she can sense their presence. Books, tomes, and scrolls can be understood after a time with a touch. Her learnings are then passed to the other members of the houses, based on where the knowledge is best put to use.

______ Solaria wasn't always a Pearlcatcher. She was once a humble Tundra who heard the call of the Lightweaver and had settled in for a peaceful life. That wasn't how it began necessarily, though she persevered with her partner, now mate, Kasia. She continued to fervently follow her deity's calls until her Shining Goblin came to her with a message to head to a specific, undisclosed place where even Solaria refuses to share. That place was where she was given her form today, a Pearlcatcher.

______ Solaria keeps a Peace Dove around her with its favorite branch, which she has come to call Lumina. The Pearlcatcher believes the good fortune comes with the bird will help enlighten the path for herself and the clan. Her Light Sprite is named Luisant, and it holds what seems to be a small manifestation of the Lightweaver in its orb and its blinding shine. Recently, she has also adopted a spaniel pup, whom she calls Scampy. Though it doesn't like to get involved in a fight, it seems to like the Pearlcatcher and snuggles with her while she sleeps.

______ There is one force that drives all beings, and that is the purpose they hold. Much like how a Guardian has its "Search," Solaria knows that every dragon has its purpose. They do not know what it is. But it has already found them. She lets all dragons study with her and the House, in the hopes that their learning will one day reveal it to them, for a dragon can grow best by learning as much as possible. She works tirelessly as the loremaster, chronicling everything in their archives.

______ Solaria is quite old and mature. So much so, Light literally has frayed her wings and seemingly tattered them. Nobody knows why this even happens, not even Solaria herself. She can still fly perfectly fine, though it does worry her mate, Kasia, a bit. He thinks it has to do with her high exposure to Light magic, but neither can confirm that.

______ Solaria has a bit of a hatred towards the way certain dragon species are stereotyped. Pearcatchers are cowards? Not her; she'll use her learned Light magic to dispel and fight off any assumed threat like that. Are Mirrors and Ridgebacks too aggressive? They surely might be, but they can learn something else, too. While she understands why a species might be generalized, she knows that exceptions exist, always. But she has become concerned with the Lightweaver's most recent message about the Imperials... yes, she is a Pearlcatcher, and the two races have indeed had their troubles. But no dragon should be banished from her lair for any reason. For once, she has had to disagree with what the Lightweaver says.
