Found as a young, abandoned hatchling early on in the Clan’s history, Ellyrion has no real past to speak of. Rather, it would be wise to consider her past as having started in the clan, and so does she.

All that is known of her very brief life before being found is that she came from the western border of the Ruins, or rather the eastern border of the Tangled Wood - it was the Clan who then took her in to raise her. Ellyrion does not know which of the dragons in the Clan this task was entrusted to: its structure never quite allowed her to bond with those dragons as much as she should have, and she was mostly left alone.

With no parents, and no knowledge that could help her in this strange new world, Ellyrion’s only companions were the other creatures that roamed the Clangrounds: perhaps it was a stray critter one day, perhaps it was an occupied dragon’s pet on another. Only they had time for her if her caretaker that day was asked to come help with an emergency, or if half the Clan was out that day.

Being raised in such a way, Ellyrion never quite adjusted to life in the Clan, in spite of only a tiny sliver being made up of the time she spent outside it. Interacting with dragons was difficult, while anything else was effortless. One half of its inhabitants understood no word she spoke; the other growled in agreement.

Although she is a full-fledged member of the Clan, she is reclusive, having a tent to her own - and, more likely, to her tasks. Her bond with the creatures of the Clan ever persists, and she is regarded as the only member truly able to work with every familiar, without fail.
