Turned forcibly into a lycan in his late youth, Caleb fights a constant battle against his foreign instincts. It was a miracle in the first place he survived the initial attack - had he not been found by a local healer beaten and bloodied, he would’ve certainly succumbed to his wounds - and the scars still linger. His left wing was completely lost, and his throat scars make it hard to communicate. However, Caleb partially sees this as a blessing; a were creature with the ability of flight would be hunted and killed no doubt, and his weak voice attracts less attention.

He currently resides in the Vale alone, a self-made pariah of First Peak.

character notes to develop:
- a werewolf (weretundra?¿?). was not born one, but rather turned shortly after leaving his parents home
- covered in scars (concentrated around his neck and torso) and stretch marks from transformations
- tries not to be self-conscious but is
- voice is incredibly scratchy from all the throat scars. usually just resorts to sign language but can still speak if needed
- lives at the vale/barrens border and hides out in the barrens every full moon
- terrified of predators, especially wolves
- the idea that he might hurt others while transformed torments him
