The grandson of Tyrith and Circe, Aconitum is a member of the Celestial Runner lineage and has the same strong magic found in the rest of his family tree. His unusually strong knack for Bone Magic manifests itself in his claws, which glow with luminescent Shadow magic.

In spite of this talent - or perhaps because of it - Aconitum has chosen to specialize in Blood magic, honing his skills with the elements under the tutelage of Pulchrior, the patriarch of the Night Warrior family. His grandmother Circe also taught him, secretly and quietly, the all-important strategies that he can use to regulate his own dangerously potent magic in combat.

Aconitum's intelligence and experience give him a certain devil-may-care attitude on the battlefield, and many of the clan's older veterans worry that he takes too many risks. He is always one of the first into the fray when the odds seem impossible, striking down smaller enemies and healing his clanmates with energy that seems almost inexhaustible. But if he's backed into a corner, Aconitum won't hesitate to use his claws - and the purple-tinged wounds they leave behind allow the Skydancer to draw on his enemy's strength, sapping their vitality into himself as he continues on his way. 		~~~~~~
