___Personality: As the saying goes, the apple does not fall far from the tree, and perhaps no one should have been surprised that Reshad's lineage birthed such a larger than life figure like Uva. Theirs is a noble bloodline that counts heroes and famed members of the Warrior caste among their number, and even though this latest generation comprises of Merchants the righteousness that has come to characterize this family did not become diluted. One only needs to look to Reshad to see proof of this as they stand as the most honest and forthright owner of the various trade caravans to date. Trading with Reshad is a simple and even painless process as customers, be they Arakkoa or Vitterfolk Troll, can be sure that prices will remain fair. They have a reputation for not cutting corners with goods and services rendered in a timely fashion. Those who work for Reshad's trade caravan will often have praises for their employer, with phrases such as even-handed and compassionate used most often. There are even members of the Flock who see Reshad as a foil for Ikzan, seeing as they are the only one with enough wit and patience to deal with the wily Trickster. ___________________________________

___While it is true that Reshad is not, and perhaps will never be as adventurous as Uva, there lays within them the same steely determination to get the job done. Once Reshad has set their goal on something they will work towards it tirelessly never losing sight of what they want or what they hope to achieve. As with Uva, Reshad is generous with their good fortune and does not hesitate to share with little comparison between close friends or passing acquaintance. If Reshad can help, then they certainly will with little thought to what the gossips might say. It is only when something or someone threatens their family does it become revealed just where Uva has inherited their unforgiving nature. Reshad can be just as ruthless as their mate Vyrix when dealing with hostile parties, and those who have crossed the pair in the past are not eager for a repeat encounter. A cunning and ferocious fighter, some have joked that it is lucky that Reshad's naturally mellow disposition keeps him from wanting to take over the entire Flock.

___Loyal to both family and Flock, some have even whispered that Reshad's standing is so high that they could join the Council if they wanted. Their hatchmate is Elryx after all, and the pair still share a strong bond even though both are often busy with their duties. When met with such talk, Reshad will often laugh such ideas away. They are content with their caravans and the loving companionship of their mate. Nothing makes them more proud then to see the success of their children be it Uva's great deeds at sea or Akrath's breakthroughs in the training of their menagerie. Having witnessed the long fall that ambition could bring Reshad is thankful for the many blessings that they have already enjoyed.

___Backstory: Being placed into the Merchant caste even though one is born into a family comprised almost exclusively of Warriors could have been seen as a grave insult. In fact, there were members of Reshad's family that were offended on their behalf with the coming of such an announcement. They claim that this was a slight to their lineage that has served to protect the Flock for countless years and even now there are those in Reshad's family that still hold on to this old grudge. Before their birth, rumors swirled that the appointment of Elyrx as their hatchmate was made to prevent a civil war from breaking out in the Flock though when confronted the Council at the time refused to comment on the matter. Reshad themselves seemed oblivious to the politics and the controversy that centered around them months before their hatching. Perhaps by some stroke of luck, they turned out to have an affable disposition and though they were fascinated by the martial arts they were ill-suited for the task. Instead, they took to the life of the caravans easily, quickly making a mark for being even-handed and fair.

___Their relationship with Elyrx was amicable but not as close as other hatchmates. Reshad was enamored with trading while Elyrx fascinated with something altogether more dangerous, and it was this divergence that saved them from falling to the same fate as their hatchmate. Not being drawn towards the Shade meant not being infected by the Fel though they did not shun Elyrx when their deeds became revealed. Instead, they stood by their hatchmate's side to help them through the ordeal and became a shield between them and their detractors. Perhaps it was because of Reshad's unfailing loyalty and belief in them that set Elyrx on the right path once more but if asked Reshad would be quick to point out that their hatchmate always had the strength of character within them to survive.

___However, this was not the last time Reshad was called on to help rehabilitate an Arakkoa who had lost their way. They met Vyrix several years later and immediately offered friendship seeing that the other was hurt by losing both their caste and their hatchmate. Their friendship deepened into more though tragedy struck with the hatching of their first clutch of eggs. Their oldest, Akrath, was born near blind and sickly and Vyrix withdrew claiming that this was punishment for their past transgressions. It did not help when Koreyx showed up at their home to offer a solution to their problem, and it was only out of respect for their mate that prevented Reshad from ending the sorcerer when they droved them out. Still, conflict could not solve their problem and to keep their family ties strong they encouraged Vyrix to spend time with their fledgling. As they walked the gentler slopes of the Reedcleft Ascent, they began to notice how Akrath reacted to the birdsong. Though it was a tradition for the Flock to bond with birds or the harpies that lived near their territories, Akrath was destined for more. They encouraged their interaction with the birds and as Akrath's confidence and menagerie began to grow so to did Vyrix's happiness. Reshad was successful in saving their mate once again.

___Presently the pair remains inseparable as they continue to trade with both members of the Flock and the Vitterfolk Trolls. Reshad is content with their life and when they are not busy with trade is most often seen relaxing with Vyrix or hunting with Akrath or accompanying Uva on short trips. This idyllic existence is something that they protect fiercely especially with old threats looming in the back of their mind. Reshad is no Warrior, but peace can invite dissent, and it always pays to be wary.
