Rays of sun tickled Brightwing’s nose as she lay out under the dawning sky. She stretched out her wings to better catch the warming rays and her sigh of happiness became almost purr like. Eventually she rose to greet the Lightbringer’s gift.

She leads the clan in welcoming the morning, feeling the passion of their morning song surge through every muscle in her body. A glow burst from her and radiates out to each clan member. It even forms ghost images of those gone on chores for the clan. When the ceremony ends, Brightwing heads up to a cliff top to contemplate the Lightbringer’s wishes.


Occasionally a dragon will come up to speak with her or a hatchling comes to bask in the natural warmth she radiates. She tries hard to balance her duties as a council member and her duties as a priestess. She is always fighting her innate instinct to gossip and so far has done a good job. She is positive that her pearl starts to darken whenever she indulges in frivolous conversation.
