An offworlder from a distant realm of humans and souls. Though he has a child's stature, he's not to be underestimated. Hitsugaya's abilities back in his own world put him among the highest-ranked warriors of their society, and they serve him equally well in Byzmara. He's extremely skilled with both his blade and his spells - Kido, the Demon Arts - and his experience combined with his intelligence makes him easily able to compete with veteran fighters. Hitsugaya is fairly serious and direct in his dealings with others, occasionally with a bit of snark. While bluntness is his favored tactic, he is nonetheless familiar with political games and knows how to carry himself well among nobles and other figures of import. Basic respect is extended in all of his interactions, unless the other party proves it is not returned. He cares little for rumor and gossip, preferring to leave such matters to his Lieutenant. He also hates to be treated as a child; confusion at first is grudgingly understood, but persistent notions that he's not fit for his job are countered at every opportunity. His position as Captain of the Guard means that the vast majority of the city's more serious problems fall under his jurisdiction. Hitsugaya balances both paperwork and hands-on responses, though the latter is certainly preferable. He also handles the delegation of other duties, particularly to Lieutenant Matsumoto, Undyne, or Maximus, who are senior enough to delegate further to other guards as necessary. Though Byzmara is not his home, he defends it with the same steely determination. He's forged numerous connections in the city, ally and friend alike, and he's not about to let them down. |
