Biography
Adrian
Sprite Hunter
Greedy | Opportunist | High Status
Smooth scales, smooth flight, and a smooth tongue, Adrian is a bad seed at best, and too slippery for his own good. He could charm the gems clear off a Spinal Vulstal, and given the chance, he could probably convince an Onyx Cobra to bite someone else, just to give him a steady source of gems to harvest. With no qualms about putting money before others, Adrian is the perfect con artist, greedy and apathetic in equal parts.
Perhaps this is what got him into Prosperina’s employ.
It started with a simple lie, if Adrian is going to be honest (a rare occurrence indeed). Out of work, looking for a new target, a rich target, he began to spread rumors about the fabulous power of the elemental sprites, rare creatures that only emerged when the conditions were right, and naturally, only he knew the conditions. False though it may be, the news traveled with all due haste, and within days, Adrian was invited to the halls of the Frok to receive a job offer.
He accepted as soon as he saw the proposed price tag, a sum beyond his wildest dreams. The only hitch, not that Prosperina knows it, is that Adrian is a lousy sprite hunter. To his employer, he is a busy dragon, constantly lying in wait in the far corners of the world for his prize to draw near enough that he can make the triumphant capture. To anyone else who’s seen him in action, though, Adrian is the sort of dragon who will spend all his money on a long tavern night of hard drinks and coarse games, and in the morning, he’ll miraculously shower the establishment with even more of his generosity while a fellow in back realizes his wealth is mysteriously absent from his pockets.
Some sprite hunter he is.
