Biography

Jafar
All powerful, misunderstood Djinn
Lust
Picture goes here

Jafar was once a misunderstood human who only wanted to change the world for the better. he was born a long time ago in a place known as 'the magic kingdom.' There the people respected two traditions.. 'devotion' and 'duty.' The people knew of these as the 2Ds. And with these, the people in the magic kingdom thrived, going through what was known as a golden age. However, the generation Jafar was born brought a dark time upon them all. They started losing money, and people were dying in the streets. Jafar, a young man at the time, only wanted to change the world for the better. He wanted to return the gold to the people, to fix the socio-economic standard and bring about another golden age.

However, when he entered the palace he was met with resistance. The council of the land were selfish, conceited and spoiled people who didn't want to listen to any of the ideas Jafar had. They cast him aside and made him their errand boy, causing him to bow his head and obey what they had to say, waiting his moment and biding his time to take over when the time was right. He was very unhappy with the entire situation, but still determined to make a difference, he continued onward.

He worked with his head down and keeping his thoughts to himself for nearly a week before he met a woman named Scheherazade by chance. Her ear had been cut off by another nobleman who decided it would be fun to mutilate her just because. Having studied under a healer, he was able to tend to her wound. She thanked him with the only thing she could.. a story. This one about a tiger head cave.. filled with treasure, a rug possessed with the soul of a thief, and an all powerful wish granting djinn. Jafar was entranced by how Scheherazade told her story, and found himself unable to get her out of his head.

Night after night he would watch her tell her stories, drawn away from the cruel palace life to another world where ordinary people could do extraordinary things. it was nice to be swept up in her words and taken somewhere far away. Of course his interest in her did not go un-noticed, and to his shock and surprise she returned his affections and agreed to marry him. The two were happy together for a few years. She would tell him stories and he would hold her close, enjoying her company. And all things came to a peak when she announced to him she was with child. Jafar was ecstatic, soon he would have a child with the woman he loved. He also received good news that the leader of their land wished to see him. So he took his wife with him to meet the ruler.

Instead of listening to his ideas about reforming the land, the leader of their kingdom took Scheherazade away from Jafar and put her into his harem of women. Scheherazade gave Jafar her pendant and told him she would always love him, and then passed away a few months later. Jafar was distraught, doing his best to continue his work, but his heart was not into it. The people of the land now hated him, calling him ugly behind his back and saying he was worse than those who had come before him. At this point Jafar had lost all hope, depressed and unable to make his dreams come true, he did his best to raise the child the leader had to take over for the previous one. However, she was not too bright and seemed to only want to do everything her way. She angered a neighboring prince from another land with her actions, starting a war between their two kingdoms. Desperate to protect his people, Jafar decided to believe in one of the fairy tales Scheherazade had told him and paid a merchant to find the other half of the medallion she had given him.

With this he found the tiger head cave. Not wanting to risk his own life before his dreams came true, he found a common thief from the street and asked him to get the lamp in his place. This thief ended up coming back with the rug Scheherazade spoke of and decided to keep the lamp. Of course, the thief then wished for himself until Jafar managed to steal the lamp from him. He used his first wish to become the ruler of the land, thinking his rule would make their city grand. His second wish he used to turn himself into a powerful sorcerer so he could defend their city with his magic. However, the thief he had taken the lamp from returned to steal it back from him and Jafar made one final, desperate wish. He wished to take the Djinn's place inside of the lamp. Jafar was then transformed into an all powerful, wish granting Djinn.

It was at this point Jafar discovered the leader's daughter was actually his own, and that this entire time he had been raising a piece of himself and Scheherazade. He allowed her to make three wishes to fix the entire mess that had befallen their kingdom. With her final wish, the new ruler wished for his happiness. So now, though he is trapped in a dimensional rift, his powers brought him Scheherazade who was the only thing which ever truly made him happy. Now he lives his life in bliss with her.

Sands of time.. bring me back.. before it all went wrong..when love was just a song...
