Staub's charge consists of the archives, their writings and their keepers. He can usually be found there, resting in a corner, intently watching every visitor. He has an impressive knowledge of the archives' records, though that only rarely shows, as he believes that most of the stored prophecies should stay just that - stored away, for safety, not to be consulted lightly.

The large Guardian had arrived at the not-quite-drowned completely exhausted and out of breath, the dive down into the trench having cost him dearly. Had he not been of the Tidelord's breed, the journey would most likely have cost his life, even. Though thankful for the first priest's attention to his wounds, he had nevertheless shook his head at all the questions aimed at him, gathering the last of his strength to make his way to the Abyssal Archives. Only when he found them intact, the archivists staring at him in confusion, he finally succumbed to his exhaustion, sleeping for two whole days.
