Moonling

Moonling can't remember much of her original clan, but she knows her parents had loved her very much, but not even loving parents can fight against a hurricane. Torn from her nest as a hatchling, tossed around by merciless winds, she remembered crying out for help, and no one coming to her rescue.

Until him. Altai. Her hero and her savior.

He'd swept in and sheltered her in his massive wings, kept her safe from the wild, angry winds and the driving rain. The moment he could, he had picked her up and flown them both to safety, to a clan that immediately opened their doors to the two storm-battered dragons.

Moonling grew up learning all she could from the icy imperial that had saved her life, all thoughts of her parents and original clan gone from her mind. Despite how cold he was on the outside, the skydancer can always be found curled up next to her guardian and mentor.

She's kind, loving, and a protector of hatchlings. It isn't uncommon to find her with a group of hatchlings following behind her, trying to mimic her graceful stride and wanting to see and touch her metal wings. Sometimes, she admits that she wishes she could have children of her own, but with Altai around its rather difficult. Not many stick around after seeing how protective the imperial is over his adopted daughter.
