Aurelius was brought up to do nothing but ruling. He was born as the son of royalty, kings and queen and always meant to marry a worthy princess - a Queen with blue blood pumping in her veins, like in his Only the heart works in mysterious ways and though Aurelius was the perfect prince - noble, beautiful, strong and maybe a bit supercilious - he was also a wanderer form a very young age. Extreme curiosity and a lust for travel lives within him and this brought him far and wide from the homely Starfall Isles It brought him into the arms of a curious green imperial with soft eyes and a princess with no crown dancing in the sunlight. For Aurelius there was no going back from there. He let himself fall, fall into the light of her laughter and the artfulness of his very existence and there was simply no redemption, no golden hall or jeweled crown worth more than what he found here |
His parents, however, saw only a son fallen from grace and cast him out, both for choosing multiple mates - something still looked down upon in royalty - and for choosing two below him, two with no royal blood He struggle to this day with the idea of his love being wrong or twisted, of his choice to leave his old life behind being wrong. Sometimes he even misses the home he left behind. He fled before they could cast him out, and though he thinks this left his pride intact, a part of him also longs for closure Yet he could never return, not after he's seen how happy Prajas shining eyes and Cirrons rumbling laugh can make him. In the end, it's all worth it . |
