Biography
REVENANT
Unsure, lethargic, pleasant
Aurora has no memories of her past life, but based on the circumstances, this much is confirmed: some time ago, she went on an expedition to the Southern Icefield. Why she, a Fire dragon, would venture out there, is unknown. She met her end there, frozen into an icy prison by one of the natives and forgotten at the back of a cave.
Much later, the Empyreal clan visited the Southern Icefield. When Adair and Freya found an abandoned lair in the Boreal Woods, they were hoping to find treasure inside. Instead, they found the piteous-looking Nocturne statue. She looked so lifelike and unnatural that they were suspicious and called for Euryale's help. With some magic and a great deal of patience, she was finally freed of her icy prison.
Most creatures would be killed by the experience, but her Fire magic allowed her to survive by a thread. As her body sputtered back to life, the Empyreal tried asking her many questions. However, she couldn't even tell them her name. Her mind was emptied and her body permanently altered by the ordeal. Whoever she was before the incident had been lost forever. Euryale gave her the ironic name "Aurora", and it stuck.
Sometimes Aurora wonders who she was, but since she'll probably never get an answer, she focuses on the present. She stayed with the Empyreal clan and is rediscovering the delights of living. Some of the intellectuals among them call her a "revenant", a being that has returned back from the dead.
