Infiltrator of the Clarus Clan

Alcedines has lived a long, adventurous life. When she was younger, more naive and incredibly foolish, she interacted with - not the dragon deities themselves - but their close advisers. She proudly claimed to be a royal sidhe, although modern sources beg to differ whether she claimed to be a princess or a duchess. For her audacity, she was cursed to be a mute for a thousand years and to suffer the rumours that would blossom around her as she flew (quite literally, she often leaves a trail of flowers and petals in her wake) with no way to verbally rebuke the gossip.

She doesn’t know who cursed her - whether it was the dragon deities or the Sidhe high lords - but during the endless years of her punishment she has been trying to track them down. She can hold a mean grudge and plans to punish her assailant in any way she sees fit (and she sees a lot of different ways). In the meantime and in fleeting, spare moments, she has become a skilled trickster and has decided to fully embrace her new persona, wrapping herself in the rumours that surround her until who she really is is lost (maybe even to her). She loves the attention and throws herself into the role that others want her to be.
The count on her punishment is slowly drawing to an end, and she is torn in two - she has so much she wants to say! But a part of her wants to continue her charade. It is simply too entertaining to watch other dragons try to fill in the gaps of her character.

Alcedines likes to stay by the seaside but often will not fly over the open water. She is part of the stage two Faerie invasion and often is found on the cliffs in the Clarus Clan territory, overlooking the ocean.
