 |
 Nova is the wife of Orion and one of the few Celestial Nymphs still around. Her job is rather passive but important; she catalogues all galaxies and worlds she can, keeping a perfect record of destroyed or functioning realms and parallel ones in the vast multiverse. She respects the Axolotl greatly and gladly listen to it's cryptic tales when permitted. At first she didn't come to Sornieth because she wanted to, she simply followed her husband to make sure nothing happened. But she grows remarkably in tune with the place, sensing emotions and feelings of many living things and is therefore able to aid a lot of them. She assumes this is because of her vessel's species; Skydancer. Orion settles into the Phantasma clan much better than she does, she isn't as curious about the dragon way after all, she has catalogued far too many dimensions to really care by now... But she tries and Cassiopeia helps her too. Her celebration of Starfall became a magical memory and she gets on quite well with quiet Penumbra and also Seiko. Nova is quick to let her temper get the better of her and clearly shows she doesn't like the Cipher cult once given the chance. She boils with anger over not being able to spill what she really thinks of Bill, but Cassiopeia is right; they can't let their clan members know they are envoys from beyond this world, and every time a member of the sect is close, it's to help one from the clan.

The animosity isn't shared through, Allisos and Mio has both at least expressed an interest to get to know her, but she blatantly rejects it. Most of the cult dragons are courteous towards the skydancer, and Cassiopeia doesn't like that Nova doesn't even try to be polite. Atlas arriving, messes a lot of the nymph's plans up. She does think the Cipher clan deserves destruction as he does, but after contemplating how the dragons souls will be treated by doing that and how the Sornieth gods might interfere, she decides against it with a finality to it. She doesn't wish to lose her new friends and even if she has to leave one day, she wants it to be on her own terms. Atlas is forced to comply to their non-violent civil way and Nova is glad he promises not to use his powers. Any plan conceived to confront the cult isn't successful for the four and Nova greatly worries that the letter they received, the welcoming soiree; it's all a trap. She doesn't want to go, but Cassie convinces her and she becomes the voice of reason once Atlas flies off the handle, making her husband and Cassiopeia run off. She clearly makes him know what his options are and goes to comfort Cassie, knowing she's in her room.
