Oberon has been a potionmaker his entire young life. He has a knack for it, taking ingredients from here and there, mixing them together for glorious and often unexpected results. He is uncannily aware of which plants will work together, producing concoctions for every purpose, whether it is healing or the antithesis. But though he knows how to make the absolute deadliest of poisons, he rarely creates these. Having the knowledge of what mixtures will bring an end to life also enables the knowledge of which ones will save a life. No one knows how he came to learn this wondrous ability except he and his mate, who is sworn to secrecy. He was taught by the fairies, sprites and other magical creatures who live in all the regions of Sornieth. They visited him when he was but a hatchling exploring the icy regions of the Snowsquall Tundra and he never let on his awareness and communication with these beings to anyone. He does not keep a compendium of the deadly poisons for fear they may be used by others who wish only to harm. Those recipes he keeps in his head. He does however, have a very detailed notebook of all of the beneficial potions, and has provided an additional copy to the clan librarian.
