Biography
"KILL ME IF YOU CAN."
Astaroth's origin is a mystery. One night he was found by a clanmate, drenched in blood. The clan leaders, Agnes and Roy, naive as they were, assumed that he was maybe struck in a massive dominance war and needed a safe place to rest. Astaroth peacefully agreed to stay inside the clan, but when one dragon attempted to remove his armor to clean it, he violently attacked them.
This caused a massive outburst, with several dragons arguing whether or not it was safe to keep him around so many weak and elderly dragons. Innes defended the mysterious Snapper, stating that it was quite wise of him to want to keep his armor on, as it meant he was ready for war at any moment. The crowd of dragons ceased their bickering, but many would continue to not trust Astaroth.
When talk of praise circulated between the clan's elite group of warriors, their leader, Jasper, challenged Astaroth to a test of strength to see how powerful he really was. Astaroth warned that he could kill any dragon that stepped forth to challenge him, and Jasper, thinking he was joking, playfully swung her mighty claws at him. Astaroth caught her hand between his teeth, his powerful jaws just one press away from cleaving her bones. The warriors were in shock but amazed, and decided to give him a spot among their ranks, despite not knowing much about him.
Astaroth comes off as rude and cocky to most dragons, as he constantly reminds those who oppose him that he could end their life in one hit. While the warriors enjoy his sheer level of strength, one dragon in particular took great interest in him -- Hectic. Whenever given the opportunity, she would calmly interact with Astaroth and ask him questions, being careful not to anger or insult him. The Snapper would happily chat with her, and despite not showing much emotion, the two became mates after a while. Rumor has it that only Hectic has seen what he looks like without his armor, but there's also a rumor that he's also an evil Shade-born demon that reaps the souls of dragons he's killed, so most talk about him is taken with a grain of salt.
Astaroth's menacing 'soulless' stare.
