A note from Mother

"Little darling, you do your blood proud with such rich colors that you wear. You emerged from your egg with your head held high, as if you already knew what a perfect specimen you were. But then, as I was lost in admiration for your sophistication, something else caught your sparkling, violet eye. A little bird flitted by, landing nearby and starting a little song as if it were just for your arrival to the world. And then, beyond anything I'd seen in my wildest days, you sang along! From your draconic form, a little tweet emerged and left me speechless. Who has ever heard of such a thing? A dragon that chirps as a bird does, singing along to your feathery friend's little tune. And so I named you for the sweet little song, a minuet. My beautiful Minuet."
