Cerisse
"The stars have aligned and, guess what? You're still wrong."

Born to a wealthy family, Cerisse was sent to a prestigious Astronomy institute when she expressed a love for the stars that equaled the Arcanist's. However, despite her excellent grades, Cerisse's short temper and the racket with which she performed her daily labours made her a clearly-marked target for the primp, proper, and rather snobby dragons that served as her classmates. Though Cerisse did her best to ignore the insults sent her way, one's patience does wear thin over time and with the conclusion that perhaps brawns were better than brains when it came with dealing this sort of crowd, Cerisse got her class involved in a spectacular fight that resulted in seventeen broken snouts, twenty-one torn claws, eight black eyes, a multitude of broken bones, and Cerisse's expulsion from school.

On the bright side, Cerisse's classmates no longer had the ability to mock her, as the majority of them wounded up broken-jawed and missing-tooth in the hospital. The bad side? Cerisse no longer had a place to call home. Wealthy as her family was, her parents were as much interested in their child as they were in a piece of rubbish and when she was driven out of school, they showed neither support for Cerisse or recognition that she was someone they should care for.

Fairly exploding with rage, Cerisse flew out of the school grounds and into the nearby forest, tearing through the trees and causing general destruction to the area. Then, at the height of her crazed frenzy, she promptly slammed into a Tundra who named himself Darjeeling. When Darjeeling proved unmovable by Cerisse's curses and rather dangerous punches, Cerisse reluctantly condescended to speaking with him. After learning of Cerisse's predicament, Darjeeling offered her a spot in his clan, which at first she snarled at then thought it'd be an okay solution to her situation. Grudgingly, Cerisse accepted the offer and has been with the clan since, resuming her studies under Darjeeling's wing (which may or may not be broken from her tussle with him).

Cerisse's love for the universe and its mysteries is clearly marked in the diligence with which she studies the stars and the textbooks on them. She also enjoys improving her mind and learning new things, the latter of which is mostly found in the lores and stories Darjeeling, now her fatherly figure, tells her. Though at first sight, Cerisse may seem like a study bug, she is actually a wonderful fighter and her clanmates have learned to never request a fight from her, for while the fight is wholly good-natured on Cerisse's side, the opponent may still end up in the infirm anyway.

The fact that she was practically banished from her school, combined with the detail that her birth family could care less for her, has solidified into Cerisse's dislike of being vulnerable or picked on. She reacts harshly the moment she suspects an incoming taunt and can be quite hurtful at times. However, this is mostly a defence mechanism and she will display the same aggression whenever an outsider attacks or attempts to harm one of her clanmates, for though her birth family may not care much for her, her clan -- now her family -- cares very much for her and Cerisse strives to return the mutual feeling.

Lastly, above all other things -- Cerisse is not ladylike. She neither wants nor plans to be a ladylike figure now or in the future, and an inquiry of the above will very like result in the questioner losing most, if not all of their teeth. Never a long-standing rival to anyone, Cerisse still gets angry at pretty much everyone at least one point in her life. However, Cerisse, brash as she is, knows to apologise and can be an excellent, though slightly awkward, friend to those who know to value her.
