Biography

Although he was young when he joined Haizea's clan, he proved himself to be a quick study. Niamh, one of Haizea's children and the Mistress of Words took him under her wing and taught him the history of the clan. She was kind and patient, answering his many questions and helping him learn everything he had questions on. He studied under her for a full year before she sought her Exaltation to join with the Windsinger.

At the time, he did not feel adequately prepared for the role of Master of Words, but Haizea assured him that he would do fine. Deciding to live up to her expectations of him, he stepped into the role and has fulfilled it dutifully. He keeps track of all the former members of the clan, new hatchlings, comings, goings, and major events that shape the clan.

Theia

The first time he met Theia, he was given quite the scare when she seemed to materialize from nowhere. Her grin was sly, and the way she looked at him reminded him of a hunter seeking it's prey. Although he was a little wary at first, he found that she was remarkably clever and could almost match him with his love for history, and far outshone him in telling stories. He was captivated, and soon found out that she was just as interested in him. It wasn't long before they had their first clutch, and neither of them could complain about a thing.

Although they don't spend a lot of time together, as their duties pull them apart, when they are together they are inseparable.

Mhumi

In his earliest memories it is not his parents that he remembers, but his grandfather, Mhumi. A kindhearted and loving Tundra, he often remembers waking up surrounded by warm fur, and lots of other hatchlings. Being the primary caretaker of the nursery, Mhumi took great care of the hatchlings in his charge, but Chronos remembers being given special attention. His heart still swells when he thinks of his grandfather, and when he gets free time, he often sends letters to check in.

When looking after his own hatchlings, he often tries to mimic his grandfather's ways, but he knows he'll never quite live up to such a kind and generous dragon.

Thylos

Naturally wary of all Imperials, knowing that they all have the potential to create monstrosities that have leveled not only clans but entire regions, Chronos is particularly distrustful of Arcane Imperials.

Thylos, unfortunately, is the only dragon in the clan that fits both of these criteria. The two openly disdain each other. Chronos is sure that Thylos will bring disaster upon the whole clan, and Thylos thinks that Chronos is a superstitious zealot. The two often get into heated arguments that have to be broken up more reasonable dragons in the clan.

Ada

Ada, although young, shows a great love for learning and for history. She frequents Chronos in his library almost daily, and often spends hours pouring over books by his side. Although seen as quiet by other members of the clan, she frequently debates history with Chronos and opens up like a flower when asked about the things she loves.

Chronos is quite fond of Ada, and if he didn't have Theia as a mate, would probably consider Ada as a viable option. As things are, both of them are taken, and so, remain good friends instead.
