When Halcyon phased into existence from the void all progen dragons come from, she wasn't quite sure what to do. She looked around her, at the tall magical spires around the little spot of land, and deemed them safe to build her lair in. She instinctively wanted to fly to the sparkling trees to the east to collect sap to build with... but then she heard something. A small noise, but mysterious enough to pique her curiosity. Red wings spread, and she was off. The great Observatory loomed above, and Halcyon suddenly knew this is where she was crafted. The sound was louder here... rumblings and whispers that could be heard even over the most crowded and booming Ancient lairs who had been granted this territory. Granted this territory... she shouldn't be here. But the sounds, she realized, were speech. Murmurs and mumbles in a language she'd never heard. Well, then again, she hadn't actually had any conversations yet. At that moment, as she winged over the enormous Observatory, she was filled with magical inspiration. Every dragon knew their elemental god; it was a tie all of them had to the energy in Sornieth. Halcyon had found hers, and was overtaken with the need to learn everything about the Arcanist and his magic-infused isles. To this day, the small blue fae spends her time entranced by detailed tomes of history and magic.

She is the clan founder, and is very proud of her babies and grand-babies and adopted babies, and would fight for them all, but loses track of who's who quickly. She wants nothing more than to wear Arcane pride and even have some members of her lineage be exalted to serve the Arcanist. Halcyon adores her deity because he is all-powerful but given life under terrible circumstances (and is a major screw-up only because he wanted to learn everything he could).

She also just wishes that her hedgehog could run a little faster.
