___ Krampus is not a typical light dragon by any means. While many born into this flight turn to history and archival tasks, the little fae is superstitious to a fault. He fears the future above all and he obsessively practices ceraunoscopy – the practice of divining the future from thunder and lightning. He is sure the swirling clouds and flashing lightning that constantly overshadow his homeland hold portents of future misfortunes. If only he could unlock their secrets, he could prepare his clan for disaster.

___ The bird skull he wears around his neck hold a certain significance for him. He claims that a wandering seer from the water flight gifted them to him with a warning that if is was ever forcibly removed or broken, a great calamity would visit his clan. He knows not what form this disaster will take, but he lives in constant fear of its coming. While his stares at the storms, plotting their courses, he often strokes the skull and mutters to himself.

___ Many of the clan are uncomfortable in his presence. His constant talk of doom and disaster quickly grates on the nerves of even the most tolerant dragon. And while most don’t truly believe that his rune beads hold any meaning, many question why he would bring such a thing back to the clan. If their safety was of such importance to the clan, wouldn’t Krampus have been better off rejecting such a “gift?” But as the clan leader’s son, his quirks must be tolerated.

___ One dragon in the clan takes advantage of the nervous fae. Ridgeback Saavutus constantly taunts and jeers at Krampus, yet has earned his undying respect. Krampus constantly runs errands and does favors for Saavutus, though the Ridgeback does nothing in return. Perhaps the lightning has revealed some significance about Saavutus that only Krampus knows.
