Rose performed. He was excellent on stage. He said every line in the right tone. He carried his audience with him wherever he went, bringing their hearts to aching tears, striking laughter in their chests, building tension beneath their set jaws. A certain light was always captured in his eyes that captivated the audience. Here was the thing though. He always performed. There was not a moment that his dramatic air failed to leave him. Off stage, he staged a character, completely different than the last with flourishing actions and bellowing announcements. Everything became a performance and Rose always took centre stage.
It wasn't as though he was trying to show a different face to the rest of the world or force a certain reaction out of a dragon; he was just dramatic in everything he did. For most, it was a charming spectacle, while a select few dragons grumbled about overly melodramatic tones. ~Written by HauntedWhale (#259516)

And he's like "Indeed! We must track down the murderer of my grandfather!"
"You don't even know your grandfather."
And then he half whispers but loudly so that everyone can hear, "Ah but secretly I am the murderer and I killed my grandfather to achieve the vast amount of riches he left behind, but I am a timid and kind soul who is in desperate mourning that seemingly breaks my shy demenaor because ~dramatics~"
"Rose!"
And they're like "Rose. Shut up. We've got to work on tracking this dragon down right now, this is our task.
