Frewin

Though not the eldest male in his clan, Frewin is a strong and dignified dragon. He is known to be quiet and grandfatherly with the clan's young, often taking on the responsibility of helping to raise and guide them. He can occasionally behave very childishly, especially with children, for which his mate will often scold him. Despite this, he remains very strong in his ideals as a guardian of his clan's hatchlings, and is known to be particularly proud of each dragon he helps to raise.

As his clan's warden, he is also charged with maintaining the safety of the hatchlings under his care. Through his sheer size and brute strength, Frewin is well-adapted to removing potential threats from around their eggs and hatchlings, although he is truthfully much less intimating from the hatchling's point of view. This role is shared with his mate, Singer, as she is often charged with training the grown fledglings for battle.

Frewin is very admiring of Singer, as the elder Imperial is very wise and dignified. He is very physically affectionate with her, though never impolite in doing so, and frequently speaks of her strength and grace. He has raised many hatchlings throughout his life, and has always dreamed of a permanent family to settle into. When he met Singer, he found another to match his desires and is keen to start anew with the mate he's come to love.

Frewin is also the mentor to Miyako, and treasures the younger Imperial as he would a daughter. He brings her guidance in her studies and in matters of the heart, and rejoiced greatly at the births of her hatchlings. Along with Singer, they helped her to raise them and lent her strength when it came time for the young fledglings to find their way in the world. Since the departure of Miyako's former mate, the two have been exceptionally protective of her.
