 B I O G R A P H Y
Percula is a nature-loving, gentle wind dragon who spends most of his time outside in flower fields with Sythlar. Rumor is that the cape he wears was a gift from Sythlar when they became mates, and although their overall history is rocky, the couple is now as close to each other as ever, bound by their love for each other. Percula spends most of his spare time nourishing a small garden which he visits a few times a day in order to check on the plants. Sometimes he grows flowers as well, and gives a few to Sythlar on occasion. Lore of Sythlar & Percula: Sythlar and Percula grew up in totally different flights, but during a accidental meeting (as hatchlings) they exchanged a quick greeting. Sythlar, being rather sly at the time, tricked Percula into giving her a deck of his cards when she won a card game against him (totally not by cheating, hehe...). That happened to be his favorite deck. Annoyed, Percula insisted that her would never say another word to her unless she gave him his cards back (well, they were hatchlings.) She refused, and then mischievously attempted to make Percula say something (typical Sythlar). He kept quiet and Sythlar lost interest, wandering off to play cards with other dragons nearby. Later, when Percula and Sythlar in a coincidence ended up in the same lair. After all those years, Sythlar still faintly recognized the imperial, and Percula still (with irritation) knew at first sight that she was the hatchling that tricked him into giving away his cards. Gossip spread when clanmates noticed the tension between them and soon everyone else knew about the rivalry and tried in vain to break the grudges they each held, but Percula kept to his word, and most clanmates simply gave up. Well, except Sythlar. She was very stubborn, and proud, which admittedly got her into a lot of trouble. Percula grew steadily annoyed with her attempts, and later just avoided the imperial altogether. Eventually, Sythlar unwillingly and grudgingly fell in love with the gentle dragon which she realized she had never really known...seeing that he was a pretty honest and rather kind soul, she had to inwardly admit that he hadn't really deserved her interference. Yet she kept this to herself, terrified at what it might mean, and worried that he would reject her if she tried to get close. When she asked him to be his mate, knowing that it was a pretty stupid question, she was expecting disgust. Percula flatly refused to respond as usual, so Sythlar, feeling spiteful and hurt despite that she knew that this would happen, took the cards she had kept from him and threw them down at his feet, yelling that if he seriously cared so much, he could have them; then stormed off in a could of rage and bitterness. After a few minutes he found Sythlar fuming in a clearing and protestingly spoke to her, the first time in many, many years, and agreed, though he vowed that if she ever took the cards again, she was going to have to buy him a new set.... However, she did find another card deck that he owned which was fairly similar. This time, Percula let her keep it without protest. Side note: this is old lore that really needs to be rehauled After all of this, Percula spent plenty of time with him mate. However, as months past Percula became more conflicted over his past and his family, which he never has spoken a word about. Though to his mate and to the clan Percula was a extroverted nature lover who had an endless supply of kindness, in reality he was becoming more emotionally unstable by the minute. Now he is trying to cure himself from the sadness that has overwhelmed him so greatly. From user #271299 aka SkyTreader197:
