Rodomontade

Name meaning: boastful or inflated talk or behavior.
Rodomantade was a a rather handsome fellow before he met Ancel. That gorgeous Talonclasp Necklace displayed on Ancel's cart, led this poor fool to his current cursed state. If only he had heed Ancel's careful instructions about the necklace, would he have avoided an eternity of suffering. "Whatever you do, never view your reflection while wearing this necklace. There will be dire consequences." -Ancel. Nothing could of prepared Rodomontade for that terrible night. On his way home with his treasured item, he made his way across a bridge overseeing a lake. A quick peek couldn't hurt. When he looked into the water he didn't see himself, he saw a monstrous figure staring back. The damage from the cursed necklace has disfigured him beyond recognition of his former appearance. Furious, Rodomonotade went back to where he bought the necklace and demand the coatl fix this mess, but the dragon was no where to be found. After months of tracking down Ancel, Rodomontade was tipped off that the coatl's hometown lied in between a chasm. There he found Ancel selling his wares to another foolish dragon. Rodomontade's anger anewed. He screamed at Ancel ordering him to change him back to the way he used to look. But Ancel only stared at him and shrugged. He claimed there was nothing he could do, it was the owner's fault for breaking the contract. Contract? What contract? "The little piece of paper you signed my friend, was not a receipt, but a contract-Ancel. Pulling out a copy of the contract, sure enough the signature was his. Rodomontade was dumb struck, how could he of been so naiive. Desperate Rodo begged for a way out. Ancel perplexed said he couldn't fix him, but perhaps another cursed object could?
