  Once he had it all. A home, a wife and children on the way. But that was taken from him when the land itself changed. An unexpected blizzard set him off course while he was returning to his camp. He took shelter where he could and waited the storm out.

When he returned there were signs of a struggle. The camp was in pieces and no one was to be found. Instinct told him to search for his wife, but, his search came up empty. Muirchertach was unable to find his beloved or anyone that belonged to his tribe. Upon leaving he grabbed what he could. The item of the utmost importance to him was an ancient tome that detailed spells used by the elders of the First Age.

Muirchertach left his territory and has since wandered the Southern Icefields. In his travels, he has befriended a Winter Wolf that he named Cailean. To those he meets, he is known as a druid. Offering his knowledge of old magic and herbs to heal those who need it.
