Biography
Notes: Congeal, Reflect, Concentration.
Parvus' first understudy and personal assistant as Clan Healer. Lacy (both his shortened name and his name before he joined the clan) is quick to follow instruction -- particularly Parvus'. He doesn't speak much, but he isn't adverse to conversation. He just doesn't often feel the need to add anything. He always puts his best effort into what he does, though. Lacy has always been passionate about doing the very best he can, even if, on the surface, he may seem mild, even for a fae. He's also exceptionally delicate for his species, with thin bones, skin, and wing membranes.
Speaking of his species, Lacy incorporates more inflections, intonations, and facial expressions into his communications than most fae. It's a learned skill, and his frills still convey most of his emotions as he speaks, but it is nonetheless there. Furthermore, he was intrigued when he found that Par, a fellow fae, communicates more like most other kinds of dragons than her species.
She is far more expressive than he is, though, and holds fiery passions for helping others live in good health, as well as her contempt for the Plaguebringer and those who follow her. He found this rather curious, her being a plague dragon and all... Still, the two get along well. At the time of their meeting, though, she had been more driven about it than usual (what with the Riot of Rot on its way) and so his training in the healing arts had been mercilessly rigorous. She explained that training him to heal others was part of her preparations for the contagions to come -- that it was per of her efforts in the war against disease and ruin. The other part was her efforts to improve herself as a healer. Lacy greatly respects her for this selfless conviction.
Lacy used to live elsewhere in the Southern Icefield, and was searching for where he belonged in Sornieth when he found this clan. It was a rather simple encounter, actually. He came upon some of its members, asked if they lived around there, was shown to the lair, looked around, talked to people, and decided he wanted to live there as one of the healers. It was while he was looking around the place that he had met Parvus and first spoke with her, and it was because of their conversation that he decided on that last part about being a healer. Hiemis didn't see any problem with it and welcomed the new clan member with his new name.
After being Par's understudy for a while, the two eventually became mates. Even so, however, there is a firm understanding that Lacy's training as a healer is still incomplete, and Parvus is still the clan's lead healer. Lacy doesn't mind the arrangement in the least, wholly agreeing that Parvus is a better and more passionate healer than he is. In fact, her passion and drive are part of what first attracted him to her.
