🌌 PATIENT 🌌 WISE 🌌 CURIOUS 🌌 
 Born and raised in the Observatory, Andromeda learned very quickly that her world was much, much bigger than most dragons thought. The many assistants of the Arcanist taught her to use a telescope and record the things she found in a journal. Andromeda was a natural. She'd peer out into the night sky and count stars, comets, whole galaxies in its depths. She could stare up at those twinkling stars for hours and never tire. The Arcanist caught wind of her enthusiasm and one day, requested her in his study. She'll never say what it was he told her that day, but when she left that study, it was with a bounce in her step, wonder in her eyes, and a brand new telescope strapped to her back. She bid her family farewell that night and pranced out of the sheltering doors of the Observatory and into the unknown. She spent a few nights under the twinkling boughs of the Starwood Strand, but she moved on soon. Andromeda set her sights on a land very far away from the Starfall Isles. She traveled and traveled, only moving when starlight guided her way. She mapped out new constellations and documented new planets, filling notebook after notebook with her findings. She mapped the cosmos from the safety of Sorneith, but oh, how she longed to see those faraway planets for herself... Through her telescope, she saw planets of swirling mist, moons that spewed water into the void around them, and whole galaxies of pure diamond. Such amazing things, just out of her reach. She longed to be among the stars her parents named her for... On clear nights, she'd fly up as high as she could go and watch the sky for meteors. Every shooting star she'd see, she'd wish for a chance to fly among them. To be as interstellar as she always hoped she could be. Stars tend not to accept wishes, but Andromeda still hopes and still wishes to break the surly bonds of Sorneith to touch the face of the cosmos. |
