A disgraced wizard, Merasmus only longs for the terrifying solitude of his haunted castle. But after an incident involving Soldier, raccoons, and sour cream, he had to leave his domain.

Now he resides in a tower at the back of the lair, attempting to brew potions and recite curses. He tries to theatrically ward away trespassers, but he secretly enjoys the attention and the money given by anyone in the clan seeking to hex an enemy of theirs.
