Doxx is not truly a dragon. He's a demon. A demon who came to Sornieth to explore, to see the world of the dragons and live like they did. He found a ragtag little group of dragons that were constantly striving to stick together and ward off magical attackers. They even had a piece of the Shade stalking them.
They took a shine to him, and he to they as well. One, his new half-mother, created a dragon likeness from him so that, no longer ghostlike, he could interact with the world.
As a mirror, he is happy to be able to race across the Shifting Expanse and fly and feel.
