PERSONALITY

As one of the Grove's strongest mages, Sumac's fierce, unwavering independence is hardly surprising. Like all four of them, they're rarely seen by anyone on the island, preferring to spend their time in the darker, swampier parts of the forest, almost as much a fixture there as Inyo themselves.

Despite this reclusiveness, they're incredibly friendly -- but they don't really get lonely, and they prefer the quiet for their magic. They show up much more often than Sedge, anyways, not that that's hard -- always there for the Grove's festivals, cheerful and willing to commit their time and magic to anything the Grove might need; after all, it's as much their home as anyone else's.

They're the first to go to for any rituals regarding the Earthshaker, if you can find them outside of those events. They're a survivalist, very much the dragon you'd imagine setting out into the depths of even the Scarred Wasteland with nothing more than their wits and coming out perfectly healthy at the other end a month later, connected strongly with their particular deity.

And they're, of course, dangerous. You might not think it, from their earthy look -- no armor, no weapon, their familiar made to guard dryad groves rather than hunt or fight; but that's not the best mistake for you to make. Just because they hold nothing on them doesn't mean stone's not a terribly effective weapon; and there's less mercy in them than there is in the Tundra dripping with rot and disease and raw plague power.
